Last week Sam headed to Toowoomba to present our Be A Great Mate talk.
Some epic conversations flowed on how bloody good mateship is and how underrated it is when it comes to reducing risk factors for poor health while also being great at improving health and happiness.
Our talk also has a ‘matey’ acronym that serves as a great guide to help a mate out who might be doing it tough. Informal support, a mate supporting another mate, has been shown to be just as beneficial as formal support.
