Best Small Sunshine Coast Charity or Group- Sunshine Coast Community Gala Awards

Honoured, humbled and a little speechless after the weekend. Grab Life By The Balls was named Best Small Sunshine Coast Charity or Group of the year at the Sunshine Coast Community Gala Awards.

Thank you to all our mates who’ve supported and challenged Grab Life and/ or myself through the ups and downs of the journey.

Thanks to Katrina and Shane for all that you do.

Thanks to the great blokes who roll up their sleeves and turn up for blokes every week: Mark (aka Goatie), Chris, Shane, Scotto and their partners. As well as the other great blokes that represent us across the country. Also, thanks to our great community of volunteers who continually support our vision.

Thanks to our board: Timmy, Sammy & Amanda.

Thanks to the local businesses who have supported us since the early days: Hot 91, Your Mates Brewing, Cotton Tree Meats, Bakers Delight Mooloolaba, Peregian Beach Bakery, Hustle + Flow, Sunshine Toyota, B Fresh, Kawana FC. As well as the many others who got on board Grab Life By The BBQ, particularly The Station crew Chris, Lauren, Chrissy, Finn and the team.

Thanks to those who’ve personally supported me through the wild ride: Ritza, JP, Sutto, Cheese, Nat Grant.

Congrats to Danielle and her team for putting on such a great event and bringing together so many inspiring individuals and organisations.

Congrats to all the finalists and award winners on the night. Special shout out to the other blokes who were also recognised on the night, who are on the same path to inspire positive change for men’s health and well-being: Simon Rinne from Mindful Men, Blase Grinner and Jon Morgan from Marcus Mission.

And, I’m sure I’ve missed a couple of thank you’s, my apologises…and thank you!
